Yarmouth

One of the Isle of Wight's sailing centres and the arrival point for the Lymington car ferry, Yarmouth is a charming town with some excellent small shops, restaurants and busy harbour.

Freshwater

The village of Freshwater has a large shopping area which leads to the picturesque Bay, a haven for great artists throughout history. The 18-hole golf course has a superb location overlooking Freshwater Bay, and is a great starting point for the many walks which cover the stunning West Wight. Nearby Compton Beach is a mecca for those in search of extreme sports including surfing, windsurfing and kiteboarding, and its historic cliffs attract fossil-hunters from all over the world.

Alum Bay

Famous for its coloured sand cliffs, Alum Bay also boasts an exciting Pleasure Park with many rides and amusements, and a chairlift down to the beach below.
